RoFund — Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of RoFund, a platform where Roblox game developers list their games to attract investors and collaborators, and where users browse those listings and contact each other. By creating an account or using the site, you agree to these Terms.
1. Who can use RoFund
1.1. You must be at least 18 years old, or the age of digital consent in your country (e.g. 16 in much of the EU), to create an account. Using RoFund means money and business discussions are involved.
1.2. Roblox's own Terms of Use require a minimum age of 13 for Roblox accounts. If you are under the age in 1.1, you may browse public listings only with a parent's or guardian's permission, and you may not create a RoFund account, list a game, or contact users.
1.3. You must have a Roblox account in good standing. Your RoFund account is built on your Roblox identity (see §4).
2. What RoFund is — and is not
2.1. RoFund is a listing and matchmaking platform. We host listings of Roblox games and a directory of users who describe themselves as investors.
2.2. RoFund is never a party to any deal. All agreements, payments, revenue shares, hires, and collaborations between users happen entirely off-platform and directly between users. We do not broker, verify, guarantee, escrow, or take responsibility for any deal, and we have no visibility into them.
2.3. Do your own diligence. We provide data signals (Roblox statistics, account age, ownership checks) as-is, but we do not verify users' business claims, past performance, or intentions. Sending money to someone you met on RoFund is at your own risk. We strongly recommend written agreements for any revenue-share or earnings arrangement.
2.4. We display Roblox statistics (visits, CCU, favorites, likes) pulled from Roblox's platforms. These are provided for information only, may be delayed or inaccurate, and do not constitute a valuation or investment advice.
2.5. Nothing on RoFund is financial advice. RoFund does not provide investment, legal, or tax advice. We do not recommend any listing, game, or user.
2.6. Your deals are your own — including taxes. Any income, payments, or compensation you receive through deals with other users happens entirely off-platform (see §2.2). You are solely responsible for your own taxes, accounting, and any registrations or licenses required for such income in your jurisdiction. We do not report, withhold, or process anything related to off-platform deals.
3. Your account
3.1. Roblox link is mandatory and permanent. Accounts are created with email + password and a linked Roblox account. Your RoFund username is your Roblox username and cannot be changed by you — it automatically follows your Roblox username if you rename your Roblox account. The Roblox link cannot be removed by you, because your Roblox identity is how we verify game ownership. You may link a Discord account; unlinking Discord requires re-verifying your password.
3.2. Role label. At signup you may describe yourself as Investor, Game dev, or Both. This label is for display and personalization only — every account has the same permissions.
3.3. Nickname. Your display nickname is editable but moderated. It must not impersonate others, contain slurs, sexual content, or advertising.
3.4. You are responsible for keeping your password secure and for all activity under your account. Notify us immediately of unauthorized use. We may suspend or ban accounts for violations of these Terms (see §9).
3.5. One account per person. Circumventing a ban or listing limit with additional Roblox-linked accounts is prohibited.
4. Listings
4.1. You may only list games you own — games where your Roblox user is the creator, or you are the owner of the owning group. Every listing passes an automatic ownership check against Roblox data before publishing; failures go to manual review with proof of ownership.
4.2. Listings are active for 30 days from activation, then expire and become hidden. Expired listings can be renewed by the owner.
4.3. You are responsible for the content you write: pitch headline, description, "Looking for" section, contact information, and listing intent. You may not include: false claims (fake player counts, fake revenue, fake partnerships), external payment links or "send me money" instructions, malware or phishing links, sexual content, content aimed at deceiving investors, or games that violate Roblox's Community Standards or ToS.
4.4. Prohibited listings include games that are stolen or republished without rights, gambling or off-platform-casino games, simulators built primarily to funnel children into off-platform payments, and anything infringing third-party intellectual property.
4.5. We may reject, delist, or hide any listing that violates these Terms, receives credible reports, or for which ownership cannot be verified. If we delist a listing after payment for a violation of §4.3–4.4, no refund is owed (see §6).
4.6. Statistics on a listing are pulled automatically from Roblox and cannot be edited by users.
4.7. Free-tier group requirement. Posting a listing on the Free tier requires you to be a member of the official RoFund Roblox group ("RoFund HQ"). We check group membership when the listing is activated and periodically afterwards. If you leave the group, your free listing loses its eligibility and will be taken down (typically within about a day, and we will email you when that happens). Rejoining the group lets you re-list the game. Paid-tier listings are not affected by this requirement.
5. Contact information, chat, and pitches
5.1. Listing contact details (email, Discord, X, Telegram, YouTube, TikTok) are shown only to logged-in users, and each reveal is logged. We may use reveal data to detect and prevent abuse.
5.2. In-app chat threads are attached to specific listings. You may not use chat to: spam users, send phishing or malicious links, pressure anyone into off-platform payments, harass, or send sexual content. Messages are filtered, rate-limited, and may be reviewed by moderators in response to reports (see our Privacy Policy for how message data is handled).
5.3. Investor directory & pitches. Users who opt in to the investor directory may receive pitches from developers. Opting in does not mean RoFund verifies you are an investor. Developers may not send mass unsolicited pitches; pitch volume is rate-limited. Directory participants may pause or leave the directory at any time.
5.4. We do not monitor all messages proactively, but we act on reports. Report buttons exist on listings, profiles, investor cards, and in chat.
6. Payments, pricing, and refunds
6.1. Listing tiers and prices: Free (limited, 1 active listing, no leaderboard/featured eligibility), Starter (1,000 R$ or $4.99), Featured (2,000 R$ or $9.99), Spotlight (4,000 R$ or $24.99). Paid tiers have no cap on concurrent active listings. Prices are shown at checkout and may change with notice; the price shown at your purchase applies to it.
6.2. Payments are non-refundable once a listing is activated, except where required by law (e.g. EU/UK consumers have a 14-day withdrawal right for digital services, which you waive by requesting immediate activation of the listing — we will always ask you to confirm this explicitly at checkout).
6.3. If a listing is delisted by us for violating §4.3–4.4, no refund is owed. If a technical failure on our side prevents your listing from going live at all, contact support and we will make it right (re-activation or refund at our discretion).
6.4. Payment rails. Robux payments are processed by Roblox through developer products in our payment game; Roblox's cut applies. Crypto payments are processed by a third-party provider (OxaPay) in USDT. We never see or store your card, wallet keys, or Roblox account credentials. Chargebacks and payment-provider disputes are handled by those providers under their terms.
6.5. Renewals are new purchases, not subscriptions — nothing auto-charges.
7. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
a) violate any applicable law or regulation, or the Roblox Terms of Use or Community Standards; b) scrape, crawl, or bulk-download the site or its data without written permission (public pages are for human browsing); c) attempt to access non-public data, other users' accounts, or our infrastructure (including probing, scanning, or bypassing rate limits) — this does not apply to good-faith security research reported to us responsibly (see §8 of our Privacy Policy); d) circumvent the contact-reveal or login gates by automated means; e) buy, sell, or trade RoFund accounts or listings; f) upload malicious code, spam, or content that infringes others' rights; g) misrepresent AI-generated or fake statistics, screenshots, or player data as real; h) use RoFund to advertise services unrelated to Roblox game investment or development.
8. Intellectual property
8.1. Game names, icons, thumbnails, and descriptions on listings are provided by their owners or pulled from Roblox and remain the property of their respective owners. Listing a game grants us a limited license to display that content on the platform.
8.2. The RoFund name, logo, and site design are ours. You may share links and screenshots of the site, but not rebrand or resell it.
8.3. RoFund is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Roblox Corporation. "Roblox" and related marks belong to Roblox Corporation.
9. Suspension, bans, and termination
9.1. We may warn, suspend, or ban an account, and delist listings, if you violate these Terms, abuse the platform, or create legal risk for us.
9.2. You may delete your account at any time in Settings (password required). Deleting your account: your listings are deactivated, your contact/chat data is handled per our Privacy Policy, and payments remain non-refundable. The Roblox link's permanence (§3.1) applies to your account while it exists.
9.3. Provisions that should survive termination (payment obligations, disclaimers, indemnity, IP, governing law) do so.
9.4. General legal provisions. If any provision of these Terms is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions stay in force. Our failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver of it. We may assign or transfer these Terms and the operation of RoFund (for example as part of a merger, acquisition, or sale), and will announce this on the site; rights that cannot be assigned to you under applicable law are not affected.
10. Disclaimers and liability
10.1. RoFund is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.
10.2. We do not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted or error-free, that Roblox data will be accurate or timely, or that users are who they claim to be.
10.3. To the maximum extent permitted by law, RoFund and its operator are not liable for: any deals, payments, or interactions between users; lost profits, data, or goodwill; indirect or consequential damages. Our total liability for direct damages is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim (or $50 if you paid nothing).
10.4. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law (e.g. for gross negligence, willful misconduct, or statutory consumer rights).
11. Indemnity
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless RoFund and its operator against claims, damages, and expenses arising from your listings, your content, your deals with other users, or your violation of these Terms — except where such claims result from our own breach or misconduct.
12. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms; material changes will be announced on the site (and by email for account holders) at least 14 days before taking effect. Continued use after the effective date means you accept the updated Terms.
13. Governing law and disputes
13.1. These Terms are governed by the laws of Greece, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Consumers in the EU keep the protection of their mandatory local law.
13.2. EU consumers may use their local out-of-court dispute resolution mechanisms; we will always try to resolve disputes directly first — contact support via the footer link.
